Bianca Tromp started her career after qualifying as a Registered Dietitian from North West University in 2010. Bianca completed her community service year at Kimberley Hospital in the Northern Cape which ignited a passion for public health and nutrition research. While working in the public health sector, Bianca completed her MSc in Dietetics from the University of the Free State in 2015 with a focus on mother and child health in the context of HIV/AIDS.
After moving to Cape Town, Bianca worked for a Non-Government Organization and became intrigued with advocacy for public health matters and creating awareness on these subjects.
As public health is of key interest to Bianca, the FUTURELIFE® Dietetics team deemed to be a natural fit, and she joined the team in January 2020 as the Western Cape Regional Dietitian. Bianca believes that FUTURELIFE® products can improve the nutritional status of all South Africans where a double burden of malnutrition namely undernutrition and obesity is prevalent.
